I have one project lined up for the new year and my on-going knitting project is slowly coming along. Can't wait to start on the other colors that I have picked out. My next project!!!

Here is a couple of pictures of my next project. It's called IN LOVE UNITED. Designed by Karen Avery. It's from Dimensions. I think it's going to look great. There are a couple of stitches that I haven't done yet but I'm willing to learn them. Crossing my fingers that it will turn out.

I'm back!!! :)

I'm back. Had a great time with family. Now I have to go though my gifts and put them all away. I have to organize everything. Oh well at least I had a good time right? Got lots of stuff for christmas. One day this week I will post an update of my knitting project. That's all I have for today.

My ongoing kniting project part 2

Here is a picture of the blanket that I'm kniting. I know it's not much to show right now, it's only week two. I'm hoping to have it finished for around this time next year. Keeping my fingers crossed. I'm really enjoying doing this project. What the snow storm left!!!

Here are a couple of pictures of the snow that was left behind from the snow storm. We also got some freezomg rain over night as well. So it wasn't a good day to go out.

Here is a picture of my gift that I did for my uncle. I enjoyed stitching it. If we get the snow storm that the weather person says we are getting I'll take a picture of it tommorrow and show what we ended up getting.

I'm still here. I'm almost finished a project that I started for my uncle. Just whip stitching the edge right now. So I should have a photo of it in the next day or two. My kniting/blanket is coming along slowly but nicely. I'll show a photo of it next week. I also glued the backings of some of my small christmas projects today. More next time.

I'm still here

I can't believe that I haven't been here in a week. Oh well. Well my project is almost finished. Didn't get it finished as planned because my dad came over for a couple of hours and have company over night. Now I'm trying to knit. I figured out how to cast on and do a stitch. I'll show a picture when I get more rolls and I will show a picture of my other project when I'm finished. That's all I have for today.

little xmas tree!!!/no stitching to show (but have started)

Here are a couple of pictures of the little xmas tree that I put up in my room every year. Maybe next week sometime I will put the lights up in my window. Right now I have no stitching to show yet but I have started doing something that I will share once I get some more stitching done. It's a xmas gift for my uncle. Here are a couple of pictures that the snow that I got overnight. I couldn't believe the snow when I woke up this morning. I didn't think we got that much snow until I started shoving the driveway. Can you believe the snow?

I was doing winter fun teddy bear and Now there's a mistake in it. But I'm going to hold off on winter fun and start something else because I don't feel like ripping it out. So I've decided to start another teddy bear project. Maybe after that I might do another plastic canvas pattern that I found. That's all I have for today.

I'm still here. No stitching today (well as of yet anyway). We got some snow today though (first snow fall). Hoping to get some stitching done tonight.

New Project.

Here is my project that I've finished. It's called Sleeping Moon. Thanks for looking at it. Right now I'm doing another project. It's a teddy bear. I'll post a picture once I get that finished. Maybe once the new year rolls around I might do some comfort dolls. But before I do that I have to learn how to make them. I will let everyone know how it goes. That's all I have for today.

Now that Nascar season is over

Now that Nascar season is over (yes I do watch Nascar racing), I now have more "free" stitching time on Sundays. I didn't do any stitching today (as of yet), But I did do some stitching last night. I'm almost finished it. I'll show a picture when I finish it. I just have a couple of stitches to do and some backstitching to finish on it and I'll be done. That's it for today.

Opps I can't believe I haven't wrote in here in a while. I haven't been doing much stitching. I've been doing alot of reading and alot of job hunting. The book that I'm reading is Bag Of Bones By Stephen King. Right now it's a good book. I've been thinking about doing scrapbooking. Don't know when I'll be trying it though. I might do some cross stitching tonight. I'll try to post something if I get some stitching done.

I don't have any pictures to show today. I've decided to do another project as long with my tissue box cover. I am doing a gift for my dad. I've give you a picture of it when I'm finished with it. My next project is going to be either a mini banner or another plastic canvas project or maybe I might start on some xmas stuff. That's all I have for today.

Update On Tissue Box Cover

Here is another update. The second side of the Tissue Box Cover is finished. The third side is started on. I really like working on this project. Can't wait to do another (which I already have the yarn for)!! But before the second Tissue Box Cover I'm going to make something for my dad (again already have the yarn for it)!!! Now that I've finished the bus. I'm now doing a small angel. It's another small project. I'm hoping to do some tonight. I'm going to try using seed beads. I don't know which project to try. Also I'm going ot try and make a card. I'll let you know how these go. That's all I have for today.
